One of the most unique and well known landmarks in Las Vegas is the Mandalay Bay Shark Reef. This aquarium is home to over 100 species of aquatic animals, like the nearly extinct golden saltwater crocodile. This is truly an unforgettable and interesting experience. This is an enormous aquarium, at over 90,000 square feet. There is nearly 2 million gallons of water in this 40 million dollar aquarium. A sunken temple is the maritime setting that the fish make thier home in. There are Arapaima Gigas, and red-tailed catfish. Most visitors would not normally be able to see these types of fish, so a visit to this aquarium is well worth a try. Location: |
