Wynn Hotel

Taking elegance up a notch above the other hotels on the strip, the Wynn Resort Las Vegas is a 2.7 billion dollar structure. 50 stories of sleek refinement, in a building shaped in a quarter-circle, this hotel exterior stands out visually, its dark, polished exterior contrasting with the light colored hotels in the area and the white accents of the tower.

Designed by the hotel mogul Steve Wynn, the Wynn Las Vegas is the first massive hotel in the past five years to be erected in Las Vegas. It is on the site of the Desert Inn, which was demolished in 2001. Billions were spent to make the Wynn Hotel Las Vegas stand out from the other high end Vegas hotels such as the Mirage and Bellagio, which were also designed by Steve Wynn.

Decorated in deep, bold green, red, and brown hues, the Wynn Las Vegas is replete with fine furniture, elegant brass fixtures, and is filled with marble throughout. There are 2,700 rooms, an 18- hole golf course, as well as a massive 111,000 square foot casino. One of the highlights of the hotel is the fine art gallery, featuring works by master artists like Picasso and Van Gogh.

For guests with luxurious tastes and a need for high end shopping, a full Maserati and Ferrari dealership will be on the premises. Only the most well-heeled guests can shop here, and the Wynn Resort hopes to serve the needs of guests who can afford such finery and who are willing to pay top dollar to enjoy the most luxurious new hotel on the Strip.

Attractions

Art Gallery

A tranquil escape from the bustle of the strip, escape to the Art Gallery. Here you can see works from master painters such as Van Gogh in the most elegant setting. You can have an incredible experience, seeing an original Picasso without having to go to France or the Louvre.

Circular Showroom/Theater

A center of the top new entertainment shows, the showroom of the Wynn Hotel Las Vegas seats 2,000 guests around a circular stage that is in the center of the room. This way, all the guests can have equally good views of the show. Carved marble and sumptuous fabrics continue the luxurious theme of the rest of the hotel.

Fountain

A five-tiered fountain that is 150 feet tall is another interesting feature of the Wynn Resort. Falling into a man-made lake called the Lake of Dreams, this fountain spills into an artificial lake. You will find that The Lake of Dreams name is fitting once you witness the light show, which colors the lake in rich, bright hues.

Restaurants

The Wynn Resort has 18 new high-end restaurants, ranging from Japanese to elegant French cuisine. Fitting for a luxury hotel, all of the new restaurants in the Wynn Resort Las Vegas are top-notch.

Besides the main hotel tower, there is a suites building. A semi-private restaurant named Tableau is in the Suites tower. This restaurant is open to the public for dinner, but breakfast and lunch seating is reserved for guests of the suites.

The Casino

Spanning a massive 111,000 square feet, The casino of the Wynn Resort and Hotel has a variety of different slot and card games, as well as dice games. It is designed to be as elegant as the rest of the structure, with intricate woodwork and delicate chandeliers, exceeding the fame and beauty of the Venetian and the Bellagio casinos.
