Scheduled to open in 2005, is the Wynn Resort Las Vegas. Although it is now under construction, it is going to raise the bar in elegance. The main building is in the shape of a half-circle, and is going to be 50 stories tall.
This is the only Mega hotel in thepast 5 years to open in Las Vegas. It replaces the Desert Inn, which was demolished in 2001. The Wynn Las Vegas was designed by Steve Wynn, and is going to match the scale of the Bellagio, Treasure Island, and the Mirage, which he designed as well.
An 111,000, larger than most on the strip, and 2,700 rooms give you an idea of the planned scale of this hotel. There attractions included an art gallery with Picassos and Van Gogh, and an 18-hole golf course.
A Ferrari and Maserati dealership is planned here, as is a shopping center that is going to be built at the Wynn Resort Las Vegas. All these fine features are geared towards well to do guests and newly rich winners who want to try the newest addition to the strip.

Art Gallery
For finery and culture, the Art Gallery's collection will include paintings by Van Gogh and Picasso. This will be a welcome change from the usual offering on the strip and a taste of art while you're in Vegas.
Circular Showroom/Theater
A stage set in a circular 2,000 set theatre is where the upcoming shows at the Wynn Hotel Las Vegas will be held.
Fountain
Five different tiers make up the 150 foot fountains that is going to be a the new Wynn Resort. The waters will cascade into a man-made lake.
Restaurants
The Wynn Resort willf eatures 18 new restaurants when it opens.
The Casino.
Matching the scale and grandeur of the Bellagio and the Mirage, the Wynn Casino is going to be an enormous 111,000 square feet, and it wil have all your favorite slot and table games.
The Wynn Resort and Hotel will open its doors on April 28, 2005.
